MOC Participates in Chef de Mission Meeting for the 2026 Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games
The Maldives Olympic Committee (MOC) continues its preparations for the 2026 Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games with the participation of Team Maldives representatives at the official Chef de Mission Meeting currently taking place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Representing Team Maldives at the meeting are Chef de Mission Mohamed Latheef and Maldives Olympic Committee Safeguarding Officer Ibrahim Shifaz, who have joined delegates from National Olympic Committees across Asia to discuss key operational and logistical arrangements in preparation for the Games.
The Chef de Mission Meeting serves as an important platform for participating National Olympic Committees to receive comprehensive updates from the Organising Committee on all aspects of Games operations. Discussions cover areas including competition schedules, accreditation, accommodation, transportation, medical services, security, ceremonies, athlete services, protocol, and other technical and operational matters to ensure the smooth participation of each delegation.
The meeting enables National Olympic Committees to coordinate directly with the Organising Committee, ensuring that all operational requirements are addressed well in advance and that athletes and officials are provided with the necessary support throughout the Games.
